Medals, laughter and fun as the #SparJoburgRace brings friends and family together

EMMARENTIA – There was laughter and fun as the SPAR Joburg Race brought friends and family together for a great cause.

Every year SPAR hosts the most beautiful road race and thousands of people participate.

This year was no different as on 9 October the SPAR Joburg Race was hosted at Marks Park in Emmarentia and waves of turquoise shirts hit the streets for the 5km and 10km race.

For many, the race was about echoing the call to raise awareness for breast cancer while for others it was about spending some quality time on the road with friends and family.

Timothy and Daniel Carstens ran the race in dresses and shared their experience.

 

 

The most beautiful road race ended with a family fun day as people enjoyed the festivities organised by SPAR.
