Brixton police thank the community

BRIXTON – The police could not do it without you.

Dear Brixton community

The Brixton Police Station and its management would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to the great community that is policed by the station. The station would not be what it is today without the community and their support. Business owners, community members and security companies are very involved in the fight against crime and the station wants to extend its hands to other community members to take part in combating crime in our area and through that ensure a better future for our children and a safer environment.

The station has won accolades in the past year and we, the family at Brixton police, need the community of this station to know that it’s all because of them and their assistance and support. There is no policing without the community; the fight against crime is an “us” thing.

A vigilant and active member of the community police programmes is a much safer community member. Let us work together to create initiatives for the youth. We are here to serve and protect and we cannot do that without the input of people in this policing precinct.

By working with the police, the community will begin to understand more of the organisation and align themselves with it. The police station cannot work without the community members who need to give input on how we can better our service and build a relationship, bearing in mind that safety is the first priority.

Regards, Brixton Police Station
