Comedy in the Park heads to Delta Park this Saturday

DELTA PARK – This is the third installment of theatre, comedy, and music – in the park.

Tomorrow night, 5 May, Delta Park will light up with laughter as Comedy in the Park takes the stage – good news is, you can still get tickets.

Some of South Africa’s top comedians like Deep Fried Man, Mel Miller and Sifiso Nene will take the stage for the official launch of Comedy in the Park at Delta Park.

Celebrity Master Chef Chris Forrest will host this evening of good food, drink and laughter.

There will also be a pop-up restaurant that opens at 5pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Tickets for the show cost R180, and you can get your tickets at https://qkt.io/comedyinthepark

This event is hosted by Theatre in the Park, a new intimate theatre at the Environmental Centre in the middle of Delta Park.

Producer Lyall Ramsden said they are bringing theatre, comedy, and music – in the park – to the neighbourhood on a monthly basis, accompanied by their pop-up restaurant under the trees.

“The event launched in February with Amanda Strydom and in March we hosted Chris Chameleon,” he said. “It’s a great platform for Jo’burg audiences to experience the magic of intimate performances.”
