Jeremy Loops leaves fans wanting more
EMMARENTIA - Fans treated to world-class performances at Large on the Lawn
Jeremy Loops fans were on cloud nine this weekend as the musician serenaded the sold-out crowd at the Large on the Lawn event held at Marks Park in Emmarentia on 10 March.
This is the first time the event was held at the venue and it hosted Loops along with Tresor and Nic Preen and The World Of Birds.
Family and friends were having a party on the grass in a picnic setting as Preen and The World Of Birds kicked off the show in spectacular form.
They performed their songs to an enthusiastic crowd who did not once let up their support for the band on stage.
Preen heaped praise on the crowd for their support and promised fans that he will release an album and two singles this year.
“It was incredible to perform to such a lively crowd on such a beautiful day, the band played well and I really had a good time. It is always nice being back in Joburg. I have performed so many times in this city that it feels like I’m coming back to family and friends.”
Next on stage was Tresor who immediately had the crowd on their feet and dancing along to his music. This was the musician’s first time at Large on the Lawn event and said it was incredible to be on stage.
“I really enjoyed myself on stage and the crowd was energetic and joined in with loud cheers and sang along. I am currently working on new music but also developing young artists such as Batundi and Bonj, they are very talented.”
The man of the show, Loops, closed the show by performing some of his hits as well as new music from his album Critical A Water.
Loops will head off on his Critical As Water World Tour which reaches Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, with highlight stops including marquee venues like O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London and Paradiso in Amsterdam.
