Deutsche International Schule Johannesburg was proud to announce their prefects.
They were announced on the last day of the term last year. Marian Wilkins, whose child is a Grade 12 learner at the school, said they wished the prefects great success and commended them for their dedication.
The school’s head boy, Armaan Maharaj said as a student representative he planned to be a good role model and working as a team with the other prefects.
“The prefects’ team will be working on improving our school parliament, which consists of all of us and class representatives from grades 5 to 12,” he said.
“Through our food drive, we encourage class representatives to collect non-perishable food items with their classes for the Guild Cottage. It’s a home for abused orphan girls. We also aim to teach social responsibility, generosity and strengthening the four pillars of our school.”
