Nothing but 100 per cent for Northcliff High

JOBURG – 286 of 286 candidates did their part to make sure they passed.

There was nothing but smiles at Northcliff High School (NHS) today with the release of the matric results.

The school said they are extremely proud of the class of 2017 for their outstanding work during their matric year.

A total of 286 NHS learners wrote the matric exam and all of them passed. As if a 100 per cent pass was not good enough, the school recorded 209 distinctions in total.

Two of the school’s top achievers, Christopher Conroy and Keon Roohani told Northcliff Melville Times about their post-matric plans.

Of the 17 subjects that were written at the school, 14 had an average above 60 per cent. In the other subjects, the averages were above 55 per cent. NHS’s top subject was history which had a grade average of 71 per cent.
