Karate twins rake in accolades

NORTHCLIFF – 'We look forward to even greater achievements in the future' says the twins' father, Jonathan Duncan.

The dynamite karate duo, Jayden and Jonathan Duncan, have recently raked in achievement after achievement.

The twins who call Northcliff Karate Academy their dojo have once again received their South African Protea colours. They received them on 14 July during the Karate South Africa (KSA) Protea Awards ceremony. The duo has had SA Protea colours since 2013.

After they received their colours for the fourth year running, they participated in the KSA Elite Championships which took place at the Durban University of Technology on 14 and 15 July.

The twins have subsequently been selected to participate in the All Styles World Karate Federation Championships which will be held in Spain in October.

In addition to a trip to Spain, they will also be jetting off to Romania in September for the 4th World Goju Ryu Karate Federation Championships.

“We are extremely proud of their achievement and we look forward to even greater achievements in the future,” the twins’ father, Jonathan Duncan said.
