NORTHCLIFF – Two young Northcliff High School netball players are shooting and scoring in the world of netball outside of school.

Two Northcliff High School netball players are shooting and scoring in the sport.

Precious Emekpo and Tatijana Kozul are U15 netball players at the school who have already gone further than most players their age in the sport.

Emekpo is the team’s goalkeeper and she made it through 12 rounds of trials to make it into the Gauteng outdoor netball team as the goalkeeper. According to her school coach, Nicole Grobler, about 2 000 schools compete to get into the team.

Kozul is the U15 goal shooter and captain. She was chosen to be part of the Gauteng action netball team where she also plays as goal shooter.

“It’s nice to see players this young going so far in netball. They will help build a strong first team for Northcliff High once they get to that stage. These young players are doing things some of their older players couldn’t dream of,” Grobler said.

The two young players were also part of the U15 Northciff High School team which won the B league and qualified for the Gauteng School Sport final.
