Abbotts College donates 200 food parcels to Kingsway Christian School

NORTHCLIFF – Abbotts College Northcliff gave more than just Easter eggs for Easter to those who need it the most.

Abbotts College Northcliff held a food drive and collected non-perishable food items for schoolchildren of Kingsway Christian School.

One of the organisers for the food drive, Brenda Davies said usually Easter eggs would be collected for donation, however, the college felt there was a need for food to be donated.

The colleges’ Student Representative Council (SRC) delivered the food parcels and were warmly greeted by the children at Kingsway.

“A child said to me that their mom was going to make them pap and it hurt me because we take little things such as pap and beans for granted, ” said Owami Malinga, one of the SRC members.
