JOBURG – Four women staged a silent protest during an address by President Jacob Zuma.

A silent protest was staged by four women during President Jacob Zuma’s address at the Independent Electoral Commission results centre in Tswhane.

The four protesters displayed placards that referenced the rape charges President Zuma faced in 2005 which was later dismissed in 2006. It was reported at the time that his rape accuser was one of his friend’s daughters.

We took to the streets to find out what residents thought of the silent protest.
