VICTORY PARK – King David Victory Park School is a proud Guinness world record holder.

King David Victory Park School are officially Guinness World Record holders.

The school’s attempts at making the most peanut butter sandwiches in an hour was immensely successful.

The record-breaking day was on 12 May when about 52 tables were laid out to make between 30 000 to 32 000 sandwiches as the record was set at 26 717.

The school smashed the record, making 35 557 sandwiches.

Rabbi Ricky Seeff said it was with great pride that they were informed by Guinness that their attempt at breaking the world record for the most amount of sandwiches made in an hour, was accepted.

“We are proud of ourselves, our community, our partners and our sister school, King David Linksfield High School,” said Seeff. He concluded that they are proud they broke a world record that actually makes a difference to the lives of others. “A record for kindness, a record for unity in Johannesburg.”
