Clean Bandit and Goldfish present the Electric Summer 2016

Clean Bandit and Goldfish present the Electric Summer 2016, as a brand new edition to the SA market. Electric Summer will push the boundaries, offering an eclectic mix of cutting-edge production that is set to transform the stages of Johannesburg’s Zoo Lake.

Featuring an exciting line-up of international and local artists and co-headlined by both the Grammy-award winning UK-based band, Clean Bandit and SA’s most-loved electronic artists Goldfish.

All ages are welcome, however ID will be required if you would like to enter the designated bars at the venue.

Jan Babies Party

The Jan Babies party, now in its eighth year is ending the month with a bang. As it is a new year with new memories but same Jan babies, there will be music played by a DJ and celebrates people who are born in January. Jan babies is a summer-themed outdoor annual event.

Celebrate the Chinese New Year

A celebration will break out in the streets of Old China Town as the New Year festivities get underway. There will be plenty of entertainment, including a lion and dragon performance, a Kung Fu and Tai Chi display, traditional dancing, drumming and singing, and a jaw-dropping fireworks display. The Good Luck Bar at 1 Fox Street will be open on the night to ensure that you don’t go thirsty. Plus, there will be plenty of food available at the street festival.

Old Skool Music Night

Renegade Junction will host an Old Skool jam session from 12pm till 9pm on 30 January, with some legendary DJs. They will dish up classic house, old-skool hip-hop and kwaito.

The DJ list comprises of Zak, Andy, Philani, Extra Flava and Deejay Lee to name a few.

Riversands Farm Village Market

Riversands Farm Village Market day is an outing for the whole family, including your canine companion. There is plenty for the whole family to do, including a craft beer pub for dad, a coffee shop for mom, a kiddies play area and zip-lining for the little ones, and last but not least, wide open spaces for your beloved pet to enjoy (on a leash). There are plenty of food choices and arts and crafts to suit every appetite.

Park Acoustics

Park Acoustics is a monthly music festival that’s held at the Voortrekker Monument. It’s a great day out for all, filled with awesome music, plenty of delicious food vendors and just all round fun! This is the first Park Acoustics of the year and will feature Matthew Mole, Monark and Josh Kempen. Don’t forget to pack a picnic basket.
