GREENSIDE – Clothing drive a success at Jozi Real Food Market.

Jerseys4Jozi organised a warm goods collection drive at the Jozi Real Food Market in Greenside on 4 July. Black-Mix Communications were responsible for the embroidery and supply of beanies and scarves, and also decided to join in and collect warm blankets, jackets and lucky packets for children. Jerseys4Jozi is a project initiated by the company Interact RDT.

“We were able to donate [about] 200 beanie and scarf sets along with a pile of blankets and jackets,” said the company’s customer relationship management officer Vanessa Grobler. “The stall holders at the market also donated clothes and shoes to the less fortunate at the Rosebank Homeless Association… We extend our gratitude to Ingrid Gonzalves, Jozi Real Food market manager – for providing a venue, and Big Mamma’s Deli for the hot soup and bread for the disadvantaged.”
