King David lends a hand

VICTORY PARK – King David High School Victory Park helps Pholosho School with homework.

The Mitzvah School students from King David High School Victory Park have had a very exciting second term with Pholosho School students, from Alexandra. The meetings took place on Tuesday afternoons and the Pholosho pupils were assisted with challenging homework during the course of the afternoons with the emphasis on the extension of creative abilities. Discussions were also held regarding their social and emotional well-being.

The pupils were given the opportunity to engage in sporting activities as well as many fun activities. “Pholosho School is the school with which King David High School, Victory Park, partners and it is a privilege to engage in activities with them,” said teacher at King David Lorette Vieren. “The King David School’s Foundation has again made it possible for us, to provide a delicious lunch for them and we were able to end the term on a high note. The input of the Mitzvah School participants and the foundation is very valuable and the continued effort and support is greatly appreciated.”
