Driver involved in Simba’s accident appears in court

RANDBURG – The person allegedly responsible for the death of television icon Simba Mhere and Kady-Shay O’Bryan appeared in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court.

The driver involved in the fatal car accident of Top Billings’ Simba Mhere and his passenger Kady-Shady O’ Bryan appeared in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on 4 June.

Mhere and O’Bryan lost their lives in an accident on 31 January on William Nicol and N1. See previous story.

The driver, Preshalin Naidoo (22), made his first appearance in court on two counts of culpable homicide. The case has been postponed to 26 June, in order for copies of the docket to be given to the defence.

The case is expected to go to trial on either 18 or 19 August.
