Music filled morning for VLU members
FAIRLAND – VLU president thanks members for their ongoing support through 2014 and 2015.
The Fairland Vroue Landbou Unie (VLU) held a musical morning for their women members on 23 May at the NG Church in Fairland.
President at VLU, Ina Booyse said that the group was entertained by Linden Ladies Choir that sang songs that tied in with the different seasons of the year. “Each table was also decorated in a different season that ranged between summer, autumn, winter and spring and the place looked fantastic.”
In-between the choir’s performance a violin player and flute player delighted the group.
There were various stalls where the women could buy handcrafted items.
“We want to thank the women from VLU for their support during the year and we gave them a light lunch with coffee and tea,” said Booyse.
She ended off the morning and thanked the members for their time and support and urged people to like the VLU’s facebook page.
