1. MoRockers Festival

Save the date of 15 November for the MoRockers Festival at the Cradle of Humankind.

Rockers and music lovers can enjoy the sounds of aKing, Gangs of Ballet, Rubber Duc and Justin Serrao.

Proceeds from the festival will go toward the Movember campaign, hence the MoRock festival. The Movember campaign looks to raise awareness on men’s health, including prostate and testicular cancer. R199 ticket gets you in.

2. Angolan Independence Day Party

11 November will mark 39 years of independence for the Republic of Angola. Taboo in Sandton will be piecing together a crazy line-up to celebrate 39 years of sovereignty on 14 November. Line-up: Featuring Xicocas, Adizzy, Scobar, Cabo Snoop and others.

3. Jeremy Loops Live

Join Jeremy Loops at the Rumours Lounge on 14 November as he performs his eclectic style deriving from jazz, rock and hip hop.

4. Acid and Angels

Catch Acide and Angels at the Sands in Sandton on 15 November as they deliver the uplifting melodic trance tunes.

5. Long Table Chocolate Dinner

The Sheds at 1Fox is the place to be on 15 November.

Join JoburgPlaces and A Thyme to Dine for a well-deserved evening of delicious gourmet food, paired with Zevenwacht wines. The three-course meal is chocolate inspired. Your meal will be complemented by a story from Gerald Garner about the history and re-imagination of the western edge of Johannesburg City. R650 per person.

6. Johannesburg Botanical Garden.
