Colonel Renate Timmer from the Provincial Women’s Network was in attendance. “This is an excellent idea. We need more of these initiatives. The police also need the public’s support to fight crime because we cannot do it alone,” she said.

Col Timmer added that it is encouraging that the entertainment industry took initiative to fight against crime. “We need more emphasis on crime in the country and there is no better way to raise awareness than when people come together through such events.”

According to her, the entertainment industry plays a fundamental role in society. “It is important for every industry to fight against crime because crime in South Africa is very high,” Col Timmer added.

Siphiwe Zikalala said, “The show was great and all performers were good.”

Ronaldo Muregess on the other hand said, “I enjoy seeing the girls sing, they have mesmerising voices”.
