Jozi’s Finest Festival for family entertaiment
JOBURG - Jozi's Finest Festival will definitely tickles your taste buds.
Celebrate and taste the finest coffee, chocolate, whiskey and chillies in Joburg.
Experience all this in a family entertainment environment, at the Jozi’s Finest Festival from 20 to 22 June at Ramkietjie Country Estate, Honeydew.
Among the confirmed 50 plus exhibitors attending, premium products as well as allied novelty stalls are in the mix, including a special area for ‘micro-business’ stands. Highlights will be a whisky room, a relaxing cigar lounge and chilli eating competitions.
At Jozi’s Finest Festival, you will be able to, besides enjoy the flavours of the exhibitors’ fine products, satisfy your appetite at the event’s additional fine food stalls and in the traditional beer garden, where a variety of classy musicians, with a bit of a jazzy feel, will entertain on the Saturday and Sunday. For the young ones, the Kidz Zone offers fun, games and characters such as Ronald McDonald.
Die-hard Springbok rugby fans will be able to revel at the venue’s cozy pub and watch South Africa tackle Wales on a big screen. Jozi’s ‘legendary’ radio station, Mix 93.8 FM will broadcast live on the Friday and Saturday.
Entrance tickets are now available online – www.computicket.com (under festivals), and at all Computicket outlets, including Checkers and Shoprite stores. Prices have been geared to allow a family of four to attend and purchase products within a reasonable budget – R80 per adult and free entrance for children under 16.
For entrance on 20 June, you can purchase two tickets for the price of one – only via Computicket outlets. Furthermore, all pensioners (60-years and over, producing your ID document or a valid store pensioners card) can enjoy the festivities for a mere R30 – if you pre-purchase your ticket from Computicket.
A number of charities, including the Zandspruit Community Centre, Footprints Orphanage and the National Sea Rescue Institute will benefit from the festival.
