Looking funky for charity

JOBURG – Tekkie Tax brings out the casual kicks to work.

Tekkie Tax hosted its annual charity campaign on 30 June and the Caxton classifieds department is applauded for wearing their takkies to work.

Tekkie Tax is an annual campaign to raise funds for charities in different sectors which include animals, basic community welfare, children, disability and education.

The campaign was started by Annelise de Jager who has been working in the field of Charity Support Services for about 30 years.

Cathy van Heerden, Caxton’s classified sales manager at Joburg North-West office said, “We all decided to support tekkie day because we feel it is a worthy cause, and we always love to support our community.”

The department walked the extra mile by wearing designer pairs of funky shoelaces with a set of tekkie tags.

You can also get involved by sending a text message. SMS “A, B, C, D, or E” to 44400 and donate R20 to the beneficiary sector of your choice.
