GREENSIDE - Singer-songwriter Stuart Reece will bring his own brand of easy listening music to popular Odd Cafe this month.
Singer-songwriter Stuart Reece will bring his own brand of easy listening music to popular Odd Cafe this month.
The 25 year old Port Elizabeth-born musician started playing guitar at the age of 13, and played in bands throughout his school career.
In October 2010, he formed his own band, which recorded its debut EP in 2011.
Two of the six songs on the EP made it onto national radio.
The Stuart Reece Band launched its first album, Chasing Shadows, in 2012, and followed it up with a second album last year.Reece, solo and with his band, has performed alongside South African music acts including Elvis Blue, AKing, Dan Patlanski, Prime Circle, the Graeme Watkins Project, Evolver One, Jesse Clegg, Southern Gypsy Queen and Tony Cox.
Reece will perform on 24 May at Odd Cafe, 116 Greenway, Greenside, at 7.00pm.
