2 Guns – Opens Friday 13 September

After a botched attempt to infiltrate a drug cartel, two career criminals (Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington) are on the run. In reality, these criminals are in fact undercover, and bizarrely, investigating each other. Starring Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter), Denzel Washington (Fight), Paula Patton (Disconnect), and James Marsden (Death at a Funeral).

Holi Festival of Colour – Saturday 14 September

The Indian spring festival is back in Jozi for the second time this year. Don your whites and expect clouds of coloured powder dancing through the air every hour, on the hour. Symbolic of freedom and the colour of everyday life, the festival is an opportunity for people to come together in celebration of life through dance and music. Performers include GoldFish, DJ Fresh and the Kiffness. Hurry, tickets are selling fast.

Wendy Oldfield at Tanz Live – Sunday 15 September

South African great Wendy Oldfield performs at Tanz Live in Blackheath this Sunday. Expect nothing less than her breath-taking stage presence and impassioned lyrics. Along with her timeless hits, she will also perform songs from her new album, Supernova.
