Mofokeng wants to become a successful businesswoman
Rachel loves to exercise and attends yoga classes.
My name is Rachel Mofokeng, I am studying Bachelor in Accounting at the University of Johannesburg.
I love going to the gym and attending yoga practice. It keeps me sane and refreshed throughout the week as a student.
I started my business selling LED lights and bonnets and mostly the things that students may need because it has always been my dream to become a businesswoman.
I love my business because I get to interact with different students from different backgrounds. Even though sometimes I face challenges, I still push through to make sure that it is successful.
I also love art because it relaxes me and brings me joy. Art can transport me to different worlds and evoke a range of emotions. Whether through painting, sculpture, or photography, I find solace in art’s beauty and creativity.
I believe that everyone should follow their dreams. My favourite quote is: ‘The world belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.’
I also believe that hard work always pays off. You will be rewarded in public for what you practise in silence.
