“I have been looking forward to once again going to gymnastraeda for the last seven months. This is the most exciting part of the year. The sport gave me the opportunity to travel overseas for something that I love. On the previous trip, I made a lot of new friends from all over the world, and we still keep in touch to this day. Gymnastraeda gives gymnasts an opportunity from a young age to travel because it rarely happens. It has also thought me a lot of important life skills, like teamwork, endurance, sacrifice and hard work. I am so excited to relive this experience again with our new team and make even more friends,” said Zurika Van Nieuwenhuizen (16) member of Gold Reef Rhythmic Gymnastics Club.

For many girls, this will be their first time performing on a global stage and a once-in-a-lifetime experience to learn and rub shoulders with some of the world’s best in their sport, According to Veida Aslam, one of the gymnasts on the team.

We wish the team all the best, and good luck to all the teams.
