A life-changing experience for Malose

Malose aspires to start a business using the skills she learned during her training.

My name is Malose Mokoka.

I have acquired the skills of sewing and manufacturing reusable sanitary pads using an industrial machine. Also, how to measure the material to produce sanitary pads and how to use cutting materials such as fleece, towelling and cloth. I also learnt business entrepreneurship and health and safety. I am one of the young people who was given a job opportunity by Afribiz and Enterprise Outsourcing Holdings. I received my training certificate at UJ Youth Tech Expo.

Before I got this chance to train, I was staying at home, helping out by doing chores and helping my siblings with their schoolwork.
The experience was challenging and a learning curve for me. I got to meet different people and had to learn to work with them as a team. It was all worth it in the end as it got me out of my comfort zone.

I had been job searching for months before getting this opportunity, and it is a chance to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact in the business world
