Fifth time is the charm for local Rabbi at the Comrades Marathon

The King David Victory Park head took part in his fifth Comrades Marathon.

In what is described as an awe-inspiring display of determination and athletic prowess, Rabbi Levi Lipskar, head of Jewish life at King David Victory Park, took part in his fifth gruelling Comrades Marathon.

He completed the race in an impressive time of 08:53:00. Lipskar’s outstanding performance earned him the coveted Bill Rowan medal, which further cemented his status as a formidable contender in one of the world’s most renowned ultra-marathons.

As he crossed the finish line, a wave of elation is said to have washed over him, marking the culmination of months of intense training and unwavering commitment.
