Emzini’s Easter Fish Festival and cool jazz tunes lulled guests into a feeling of euphoria in Westdene.

The perfectly prepared fresh food was specifically chosen to enhance the menu for the Easter weekend as the jazz band held guests spellbound.

Westdene was lulled into the long weekend by two performances by the Kopano Jazz Collective at Emzini during their seafood festival.

The restaurant which undertakes a number of community initiatives to uplift and build cohesion was the venue for an Easter feast like no other.

From traditional ‘Aunty Jackie’s pickled fish, prawns, calamari, mussels and whole fish, everyone who came to enjoy an afternoon of gentle jazz left with full bellies and happy hearts.

After the main lunchtime rush was over several guests burst into dance while the band played and the sun set over the beautiful Westdene Dam.
