Hoërskool Linden’s boast top athletes
The school shares on the successes two of their own have achieved both locally and internationally.
Hoërskool Linden keeps proving that its young sportsmen and women are top-tier athletes.
The school can humbly boast about two of their own, one of whom was part of the Gauteng Woman’s Cricket team and another who represented the school as he formed part of the U18 South African Rhino Rugby team.

After the school developed a girls’ cricket team, of which Livia de Jager was part, she was then included in the Gauteng U15A team that played provincially in December 2022 at Heronbridge College. There, the team she was part of, performed exceptionally well. The school’s head of sports, Rúan Basson said they were excited for both their girls’ cricket team and players like De Jager.
Rugby player, Ethan Hough, toured Ireland during the first week of December 2022 playing in front of major Irish and English agencies which was a major honour for the young rugby player. The school is also immensely proud of Hough as he showed great form during this international tour.
