Northwest Christian School learner earns big sporting award
The school shares on the success of one of its own after they won Gauteng Primary School Player of the year.
A Northwest Christian School learner was named Gauteng Primary School Player of the Year and the school couldn’t be more proud.
Grade 7 learner Oluchi Ndubueze attended the Gauteng Schools Netball awards 2022 at Laerskool Roodekrans on September 20 where she learnt of her achievement.

Oluchi captained the team who won the South African School’s U13 tournament in July and was up against 10 nominees.
“On behalf of Northwest Christian School, we would like to congratulate Oluchi. This award came with many sacrifices and lots of hours on the netball court. It is largely due to Oluchi’s faith in God and both her ability to lead and follow that makes her excel,” said the school’s Bev Smith.

Smith added they were looking forward to seeing Ndubueze’s netball career flourish in the years to come.
