Hoërskool Linden’s Golden Lion
The school celebrates the success as one of their own was recently selected to join the Golden Lions Academy.
Hoërskool Linden has delivered a Golden Lions player.
Sandile Gumede has been chosen as part of the U16 Golden Lions Academy team who will be participating in the provincial week over the June/July holidays.
The young rugby player has represented the school while playing in its U16A team and is said to have proved his talent throughout the rugby season.
Sandile is said to have shown that hard work, discipline and fantastic sportsmanship will be rewarded, as he secured his place in the team. The school’s marketing person, Ane Groenewald said the school is incredibly proud of this young man. “Congratulations to Sandile, and good luck to the Academy team.”
