The situation keeps going from bad to worse for an abandoned baby found by Fairland police. On 13 March, the newborn baby was found by the police on Allen Street in Weltevreden Park. According to the station’s spokesperson, Sergeant Michael Kgatla, no one has come to claim the baby or help the police find the newborn’s family. The police are now pleading with the public to help them with information that will lead to the child returning to a safe home.
