Safety tips during the lockdown

While the country is in lockdown, criminals may use this as an opportunity to find easy targets.

Beagle Watch Armed Response shared some safety tips.

• Don’t become complacent about security because you are at home
• Check that your perimeter security is in working condition, e.g electric fence, garden beams etc
• Ensure that doors and gates are locked and windows without burglar bars are closed
• Set your alarm when going to bed at night
• Set your garden alarm equipment when indoors
• Keep a panic button close-by
• Ensure that no valuable items are visible from your perimeter
• Clear the areas around the gates of bushes and other hiding places
• Report any suspicious activity to the police.
