Six people were left injured following a four-vehicle collision in Roosevelt Park

ROOSEVELT PARK – Meiring said that several people were found either walking around on the scene or seated on the embankment


A four-vehicle collision left six men injured yesterday morning (7 April).

Russel Meiring from the communications office of ER24 said that the collision was between three light motor vehicles and a minibus at the Beyers Naude and Judith Road intersection in Roosevelt Park.

“ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 11.42am to find the four vehicles in the middle of the road. Several people were found either walking around on the scene or seated on the embankment,” explained Meiring.

Meiring said that paramedics assessed the patients and found that six men had sustained minor to moderate injuries.

“The patients were treated and thereafter transported to Helen Joseph Provincial Hospital for further care,” he added.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
