Collision on Beyers Naudé Drive and Judith Road, leaves two in critical condition
EMMARENTIA – Emergency service was called to an accident scene on the evening of 31 March.
A 20-year-old male passenger and motorbike rider are both in a critical condition following a collision between them and a tree on the corner of Beyers Naudé Drive and Judith Road.
The accident happened in Emmarentia on the evening of 31 March. ER24 paramedics and other emergency services were on the scene at about 7.35pm, to find one biker and three people in a bakkie in need of medical attention.
The biker, driver and second passenger also adult males from the bakkie were treated and transported by emergency services while the critical passenger from the bakkie was treated with advanced life support interventions and transported by ER24.
All the injured were taken to Helen Joseph Hospital for further care. JMPD and the fire department were on hand for further investigation.
