JUST IN: Police investigate after body found in Alberts Farm
ALBERTSKROON – Sophiatown police are on the scene and are awaiting forensic services to conduct an investigation.
A body was found in Alberts Farm this afternoon, 18 March.
SCP Security was contacted by one of their informants in the area about a body in a crouching position was discovered.
Clive Maher, the managing director of the security company, said: “We were alerted of the body by our informant just after 4pm and we sent our officers to confirm.”
Upon their arrival, the security officers discovered the body. Maher then went on to call the police and they arrived shortly afterwards.
Sophiatown police are on the scene and are awaiting forensic services to conduct an investigation. Details surrounding the death of the person are still unclear.
