Spoiled with jelly and ice cream on the first day

NORTHCLIFF – Kinderkids and Baby Academy reopen their doorS for the new school year.

On Tuesday, 8 January KinderKids and Baby Academy started the new school year with excitement lingering in the air.

The children and parents received a warm welcome by passionate KinderKids staff.

Leya Landie and Bonolo Lepere eagerly draw a picture for ‘Mommy’ in the Terrific Twos class on their first day back at school.

Babies were welcomed into their Blissful Babies class by Nurse Jenny, while the older toddlers received their own ‘five-star’ treatment – jelly and ice cream. Parents blew a brave kiss as they wiped away a few tears. The children enjoyed their jelly and ice-cream and all longing thoughts of parents were suppressed.

Manager Marita Louw said, “Starting a new school year can be emotional for both the children and the parents. It’s important that the parents receive the necessary support and guidance in their young ones’ adjustment in their new classroom or school. If the school and the parents work together, the children will develop optimally in the new learning environment.”

Three-year-old Muhammad Ayaan Khan settled in by breakfast time in the Grade 000 class.
