On 30 November Jesthetix International Health and Beauty Training College hosted its’ first graduation ceremony at the Boss Diner Restaurant.
The Health and Beauty Training College is a nationally and internationally accredited beauty school. Jackie Alkema, theowner of the college, said, “Jesthetix feels that it is important to implement higher standards of education and qualifications at our school. Jesthetix believes that we should give our students the opportunity to obtain national and international qualifications to enable them to work abroad.”

On the evening of the event, students were excited to receive their diplomas. Seven girls received their diplomas for first and second year respectively. Alkema said the school was also celebrating its first year and she was very happy about the achievement of the students, especially Palesa Knocker and Maryam Sabo who came from another school to complete their diplomas. “It shows dedication on these girls’ part.”

Their motto at the college is ‘inspiring your passion’ and Alkema said, “Jesthetix continuously improves and upgrades their syllabus and implements new methods and schemes of work for all new and upgraded systems in the industry.”

The beauty school is currently accepting registrations for the year 2019 for full and part-time courses.
