Be sure not to miss this White Elephant sale

If you like a bargain, perhaps even with a bit of history attached to it, you will certainly find at it at Roosevelt Park Baptist Church’s White Elephant sale on 27 October.

The sale starts at 8.30am and ends at 2pm outside the church at 150 John Adamson Drive in Roosevelt Park.

Prices range from less than R100 to a couple of R100 and shoppers can expect to find gems like paintings, small tables, table lamps and much more.

Elsa Smith, the church’s secretary, said the proceeds of the sale will go towards the maintenance of the church.

“We have crockery, bed linen, curtains, ornaments and we are also going to have a lovely [boereworsrol] stand,” she said.
