A murder case has been opened by the police following the discovery of a body of a man.
Linden police confirmed that the body was found in Keith Fleming Park on 27 September.

Constable Takalani Matumba, the spokesperson for the police station said, “We are investigating a murder case after a body of a man was found in the river at the corner of Tana and Rustenburg road. The body was found by a person who was passing by and contacted the police.”
According to Matumba, the body had stab wounds which were seemingly inflicted with a sharp object.
Linden police are pleading with the public to come forward if they have any information on the matter and can contact them on 011 888 9211.
