On 17 April, the police acted on intelligence-driven information about an alleged drug house and arrested three suspects.

According to Seargent Desmond Subramoney, communication officer for the Johannesburg Flying Squad, members raided the house and found crystal meth and marijuana.

Three suspects, two males aged 28 and 37 and a 43-year-old female were arrested for the dealing in and possession of drugs.
“The drugs were confiscated and police investigations continue. All arrested suspects are expected to appear before the Newlands Magistrates’ Court soon,” said Subramoney.
