Northcliff High School (NHS) handed out award after award to the youngsters who worked the hardest during last year.
The annual school prize-giving ceremony took place at the end of January and is a major highlight in the school’s academic year as those who excelled in academics throughout the previous year received recognition from their parents, peers and teachers.

According to the school marketing manager, Jacqui Todaro more than 200 certificates and prizes were handed out for exceptional work.
While the event is mostly for academic achievements, the school also handed out awards for diligence, devotion to the interest of the school, subject merit certificates, special awards, the top 20 achievers per grade and top scholars.

The Class of 2017 also had their last hurrah at the school and received their fair share of awards for last year’s examinations and all the work they put in. Some matrics and their parents took the time to receive their awards in person.
“Although [all] could not attend as they have commenced their studies further afield and abroad, they were formally congratulated on their outstanding academic achievements,” Todaro said.
