Good vibes at Parklife Festival
EMMERENTIA — Fans treated to top performances at Parklife Joburg
The torrential rain forecast for the weekend could not stop hundreds of Johannesburg fans from attending the Parklife Festival this weekend.
The festival was hosted on three stages at the Marks Park Sports Field in Emmerentia and fans could enjoy different performances at the same time.
Although the headline act for the festival was multi-platinum selling Australian duo Angus and Julia Stone, the local acts also delighted fans.
Artists such as Johnny Cradle, Majozi and Opposite The Other, Alice Phoebe Lou, Desmond and The Tutus, Josh Kempen and Goodluck performed some of their hits at the festival.
As the final act of the festival, Angus and Julia Stone demonstrated why their career had spanned a decade when they performed some of their countless hits since 2006.
The duo is known for songs such as Big Jet Plane, Just A Boy, Heart Beats Slow and Mango Tree.
They also performed songs from their brand new album, SNOW, released in September last year.
