Happy Holidays from Fairland police

FAIRLAND – A Christmas message from your local police station.

The local police station has issued a message to residents.

Fairland Police Station commander, Lieutenant Colonel Clive de Freitas, has the following to say to residents this festive season:

“It is hard to believe that it is already time to say Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year. What a great year we have had here in Fairland. It has been a year of many accomplishments. Our community has drawn closer and we have accomplished more than ever before. We are a shared community.

As we celebrate this holiday season, I hope we will continue to spend time with family and friends. Let us use this time to reflect and count our blessings. The greatest gift we could exchange this season is to serve one another.

May I ask you all to remember your neighbours at this time of year, especially the elderly and those who live alone.

I would also like to extend a special welcome to those who have come home to Fairland to be with their families and hope you have a wonderful time.

My very best wishes go to those who are sick at home or in hospital this Christmas. I wish you a speedy recovery.

To all who are spending Christmas away from Fairland, I would like to extend Christmas greetings from us.

From my family and our family at Fairland police, we wish your family all the love and blessings of the season.

We look forward with anticipation to another great year in 2018.”
