AUCKLAND PARK – who won what at UJ's sports awards

The University of Johannesburg (UJ) gave recognition to the sports stars at their annual sports gala award ceremony

The ceremony, hosted at the Johannesburg Country Club, was a night of glitz, glamour and recognition of sports excellence.

The keynote speaker was Paralympic gold medalist, Samkelo Radebe, who shared the story of how he became an amputee and how it did not hold him back from being a star on and off the athletics track.

He reminded all those nominated that whether they won anything or not, they are successful as they have performed to the best of their abilities.
