MUST READ: No bail for two of Naidoo family murder accused six

NORTHCLIFF – The two suspects have been deemed a flight risk.

This morning two of the Naidoo six were denied bail at the Johannesburg Magistrates’Court after the magistrate ruled they were a flight risk.

The two suspects, believed to be 28 and 36 years old, face charges of housebreaking with intent to rob, robbery with aggravating circumstances, kidnapping, murder and theft.

They were arrested along with three other men in Zone 5, Pimville after the bodies of brother and sister Gregory Naidoo (57) and Melanie Jansen (51) as well as Jansen’s daughter Rakiel Naidoo (23) were found bound, gagged and burnt in Centurion.

The suspects will now remain in custody and are expected to appear in court again on Thursday.

Captain Kay Makhubela, Gauteng police spokesperson said the police are pleased the two suspects were denied bail and said them being in custody would assist the investigation.
