New beginnings at Elm Park Village in Northcliff

NORTHCLIFF – Members of the community are invited to attend the relaunch of the Primrose Place Frail Care Centre at Elm Park Village.

Elm Park Village has exciting news to share about the new developments taking place.

The Primrose Place Frail Care Centre, situated on the premises, has officially been renovated.

Elm Park Village marketing manager, LaVerne Hodson said despite the care centre looking neat and in good condition, it was not modern enough and needed to be refreshed. Renovations such as new flooring, lights, new colour schemes, new nurses stations and kitchenettes were completed.

The floor in the office was also renovated. Photo: Supplied.

The frail care official relaunch will take place on 30 June.

“We realised we needed to make the frail care look fresh and bring it up to standard with current trends in order to be more appealing to our current residents and interested clients,” said Hodson.

She added that various residents, other villages and organisations have been invited to the relaunch. These include residents from Elm Park Village, Maxhaven Village, family of Primrose Place frail care residents, services providers and general residents of Northcliff , Fairland and surrounding communities.

“On the day we will have a few words from the manager Gert Coetzee, matron Hanlie Eksteen of the village, our chief executive officer, Johan Raubenheimer and hopefully a resident committee member. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony and then a tour of the frail care centre,” said Hodson.

Welcome drinks and ribbon cutting will take place at 1pm. The care centre will be open for viewing from 1pm to 3pm.
