Bringo and KaeB sing about the trials and tribulations of the music industry

NORTHCLIFF – The duo is planning to create art that not only speaks to the hip-hop but to everyone.

Artists Bringo and KaeB narrate the trials and tribulations of the music industry in their single, Madala.

Sthembiso Mpehle popularly known by his stage name Bringo and Kabelo Tsoako aka KaeB dropped their first song together late last year. Their song has been played on Y FM, Capricorn FM, Tshwane FM and Jozi Fm. They subsequently released the song’s music video last year and it has featured Channel O, MTV Base and Trace Africa.

The duo met in 2014 and both shared a similar passion for the arts, particularly music, and they formed the music label, XMPL. They are also planning to create art that not only speaks to the hip-hop fraternity but to everyone.

Tsoako said music was an expression of experiences throughout his life. “I’m constantly reinventing myself and working on other people’s music apart from XMPL.

“I’m currently working on my extended play [EP]. I’m working with artists Uno July, Melo b and a couple of up and coming artists,” he said.

Mpehle added that the world of visuals and music had always been as one for them. He studied fine arts at the National School of Arts and later animation. “We are not limited to one genre we are versatile,” he said.
