Fun, foosball and entertainment at 27 Boxes

MELVILLE – Heritage Day activities are going to get hearts beating faster.

Heritage Day will be a day of fun in the sun in Melville.

On 24 September, South Africans will get together to celebrate Heritage Day, and it is hard to think of a better place to be than 27 Boxes in Melville – a melting pot of heritage and culture.

It is going to be an action-packed day with Heritage Day activities such as children’s art and the South African Association of Table Soccer’s (SAATS) 2016 National Championships on 24 and 25 September.

It’s also important for Joburgers to remember that there will be a food market on the day – something well loved by residents of the city, students and families from the surrounding areas. There will plenty to see, do, buy and eat, with fun for the family available in every offering.

Oscar Wisniewski, asset manager at property rental and management company, Citiq said, “27 Boxes offers a great space for Joburgers to spend their Heritage Day with plenty to do for the whole family.”

First-class foosball is the name of the game and the winners of the 2016 SAATS National Championship automatically qualify for the World Championships in Hamburg, Germany, next year, and all are invited to enter the tournament and join in on the fun.

While parents are shopping at the boxes or cheering on the champions, children can join the Kids Paint Portal at The Bag Factory. Children between the ages of six and 14 will be able to participate in age-appropriate activities hosted by professional artists.

“We look forward to welcoming SAATS and The Bag Factory and the kids that will join the paint portal to 27 Boxes and wish all participants the best of luck in the championships,” Wisniewski concluded.
