LINDEN – Casa Do Sol School shows Dischem and SAPS their appreciation.

Linden and Parkview SAPS assisted by Dischem Cresta donated goods to Casa Do Sol School on 12 February.

The Back-to-School campaign was initiated by Linden Police corporate communications officer Constable Carol Mulamu together with Parkview’s Sergeant Iris Phoko. Dischem Cresta donated goodies to the school such as nutritional cereal, honey, toilet paper, toothbrushes, medical kits and other necessities.

The children were happy to receive the goodies and the school choir took to the stage to show their appreciation by singing for SAPS and the Dischem representatives.

“Casa Do Sol School has a breakfast scheme for the needy pupils in the school and all that cereal is appreciated,” said Deputy Principal Jenny Drew. The school for special needs caters for pupils from six to 21 years and helps those that cannot afford to eat at home with food and with other donated materials.

Dischem Cresta played a big role by donating all the goods which were helped by donations from Christmas wrapping over the festive season.
