Auckland Park makes a splash

AUCKLAND PARK – The Auckland Park Preparatory School teamed up with Pretoria Girls' High School to take on the St Mary's summer gala.

The Auckland Park Preparatory School swimming team teamed up with Pretoria Girls’ High School to participate in the St Mary’s School’s eighth Summer Splash gala, in Waverley, on 23 January. This is one of the few events where junior and senior teams can compete as a unit.

“The Auckland Park girls swam exceptionally well. The last three races were ladder relays so Auckland Park swam with Pretoria Girls’ High. Our team did very well. Pretoria Girls encouraged us the whole way. Pretoria and Auckland Park must be an excellent combination as we came fifth out of 10 schools. Everyone deserves to be congratulated. Well done,” said Auckland Park Preparatory School swimming coach, Mo Pearson.
